For this Tour Puno – Tiahuanaco, we will pick up our passengers at 07:00 am, during the journey to our main destination Tiahuanaco, we will visit different places such as the temple of fertility INCA UYO and the mystical door of ARAMU MURU, to observe the beauty of the lake and its splendor we will make a brief stop in POMATA. We will continue our journey to the border of Desaguadero where we will present and do the migration formalities. Already in Bolivia accompanied by our Bolivian guide we head to our destination TIAHUANACO, where we will have lunch and visit the: PUMA PUNKU, PUERTA DEL SOL, PIRAMIDE OF AKAPANA, STONE MUSEUM, BENETH MONOLITH and OTHERS. Finally we will return to Puno where, we will arrive approximately at 06:30 pm.
Note: There is a 1 hour difference in the Bolivian time compared to the Peruvian time (If in Peru it is 02:00 pm in Bolivia it is 03:00 pm).
This tour starts at 07:00 a.m. with pick up from your hotel in Puno to Tiahuanaco. On the way we will visit mystical places of the altiplano such as the Inca Uyo Fertility Temple and the enigmatic Aramu Muru Gate, as well as a brief stop in Pomata to appreciate the views of Lake Titicaca.
We will continue to the border of Desaguadero to complete immigration formalities and, once in Bolivia, accompanied by a local guide, we will head to the impressive archaeological city of Tiahuanaco, one of the oldest civilizations in America.
In Tiahuanaco we will enjoy lunch and a guided visit to its main archaeological attractions, among them:
- Puma Punku
- Puerta del Sol
- Akapana Pyramid
- Lithic Museum
- Bennett Monolith
- and other impressive vestiges full of history and mystery.
After the visit, we will return to the city of Puno, with an approximate arrival at 06:30 pm.
