Pick up: Pick up and transfer from hotels located in the city center, 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
Description of the service: This tour starts in the city of Puno and goes to La Paz (Bolivia), passing through Copacabana, one of the most emblematic towns on the shores of Lake Titicaca.
The first part of the journey takes approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes to Kasani, the border between Peru and Bolivia. There we will go through the immigration process (20 to 30 minutes). Then we continue the trip for about 30 minutes until we reach Copacabana, where we will change buses to cross the Strait of Tiquina.
After crossing the strait, we continue our journey to the city of La Paz.
Total trip duration: Approximately 7 hours and 30 minutes.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Time difference: Bolivia is one hour ahead of Peru.
- Migratory procedure: There will be an obligatory stop at Kasani (Peru – Bolivia border) to carry out the migratory control. It is essential to present a valid passport and/or identity card.
- Money exchange: We recommend exchanging money in Kasani, as the exchange rate is usually more favorable than in Bolivian territory. You will find money exchange offices near the immigration post.
- Arrival in Copacabana: Arrival at the bus terminal located at the intersection of Av. 6 de Agosto and Av. 16 de Julio.
We suggest you to carry all your documentation in order to have a quick and smooth transit.
To cross into Bolivia, keep the following in mind:
- Valid passport: Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months. You must present it at the Desaguadero border.
- SIGEMIG registration: Don’t worry! We’ll help you with this immigration process before you board the bus. Each traveler needs their own registration—yes, even the little ones! This is required by the SIGEMIG system. Once it’s ready, save the QR code on your phone to show it at the Desaguadero border.
- Tourist visa: If you’re from the United States, Israel, or the European Union, good news! You no longer need a visa to enter Bolivia as a tourist (for up to 90 days). Nos encontramos rápidamente en el aeropuerto por nuestro conductor, Wilson, que hizo que el traslado fuera tan suave como hubiéramos podido esperar. Grand tour of the islands
We were met promptly at the airport by our driver, Wilson, who made the transfer as smooth as we could have hoped for. Not only was he a great driver, he shared a lot of information with us about the Puno area. I also appreciated the contact via Whatsapp because there was a glitch with the correct pick up day. The Titicaca contact person made the adjustment and also checked in with us prior to our arrival. This company was competitively priced and provided exceptional service.

Tour bien organizado desde y hacia el hotel
Todo el recorrido se organizó muy bien. Me dieron el guía de habla inglesa Juan en Bolivia que era de ascendencia Aymara y estaba bien versado en cultura local, historia y rituales, tradiciones y hierbas locales. Toda mi visita a la Isla del sol y a la iglesia de Copacabana fue impecable. Aprecio enormemente cómo se organizó el recorrido sin problemas desde la recogida del hotel hasta todo y la entrega a mi hotel. Este fue mi primer viaje en solitario y me lo hicieron muy cómodo.
Well organized tour to and from the hotel
The whole tour was very well organized. I was given the English speaking guide Juan in Bolivia who was of Aymara descent and was well versed in local culture, history and rituals, traditions and local herbs. My entire visit to Isla del sol and the Copacabana church was flawless. I greatly appreciated how the tour was organized seamlessly from hotel pick up to everything and delivery to my hotel. This was my first solo trip and they made it very comfortable for me.

Todo o tour foi muito bem organizado. Na Bolívia, recebi o guia de língua inglesa Juan, que era descendente de aimarás e conhecia bem a cultura, a história, os rituais, as tradições e as ervas locais. Toda a minha visita à Isla del Sol e à igreja de Copacabana foi impecável. Apreciei muito a facilidade com que a excursão foi organizada, desde a coleta no hotel até tudo e a entrega no meu hotel. Essa foi minha primeira viagem solo e eles a tornaram muito confortável.
