Kayaking in Uros – Amantani – Taquile (2D/1N)
Live a unique kayaking experience in the Floating Islands of Uros, Amantani and Taquile (2 days / 1 night). We start the tour with pick up from your hotel and transfer to Esteves Island around 07:30 a.m., where you will receive the professional equipment and basic instructions before starting the navigation.

We will paddle approximately 1 hour by kayak to the Floating Islands of the Uros, always accompanied by a professional instructor and a motorized support boat, enjoying the flora, fauna and landscapes of Lake Titicaca. After the guided tour, we will continue by boat to Amantani Island, where a local family will welcome us, offering us lodging, food and an authentic cultural experience.
The next day, after breakfast, we will go to Taquile Island, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity for its weavings and traditions. After lunch, we will return to the city of Puno, arriving at approximately 03:30 p.m., with transfer to your hotel.

- No previous kayaking experience is required, the activity is suitable for beginners.
- The tour has a professional kayak instructor during the whole tour.
- Motorized boats and support personnel are available at all times, guaranteeing safety and assistance.
- We use professional, safe and comfortable kayaks, ideal for a stable navigation.
- The approximate kayaking time is 1 hour, from Esteves Island to the Floating Islands of the Uros.
- We have single and double kayaks, depending on the passenger’s preference.
- The average water temperature of Lake Titicaca is 9 °C.

Recommendations:
- Wear light clothing and also warm clothes, since mornings are usually cold, at noon the weather is warmer and in the afternoon there are winds.
- Wear a hat or cap and apply sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun.
- Wear comfortable shoes, suitable for walking during the tour.
- Carry cash for souvenirs or personal expenses, as credit and debit cards are not accepted on the islands.
- Consider bringing drinks and snacks for convenience during the tour.
- Do not forget your personal hygiene items.
Important: Try to bring only the essentials, as the program is for 1 night. We recommend one backpack per person or a small suitcase. Large suitcases can be left at the hotel.
