- Check beforehand if you need a visa to enter Bolivia. Most Latin American and European countries do not require a visa.
- Bring your valid passport, ID card or identity card, in good condition and valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.

- Sunglasses, sun block, repellent and hat.
- Temperatures vary considerably between day and night, especially in high altitude areas.
During the rainy season (December to March), it is recommended to wear a waterproof jacket or poncho. - Comfortable and resistant sneakers or shoes.
- During the rainy season in Uyuni, the local agency will provide boots according to availability and size.
- It is recommended to exchange soles or dollars to bolivianos at the Kasani border, where better exchange rates are usually found during the migratory stop.
- Bring water and snacks for the ride.

We had a lovely time! Manuel was our tour guide and he was so informative, responsive and friendly. All the tour guides seemed amazing, but we didn’t have much experience with other groups. Honestly, this trip was an incredible value. It had out of this world views. If you love weaving or textiles in general, you will love meeting all these amazing artisans, and you will love learning about Lake Titicaca. If you are in Puno, and you have time, do yourself a favor and book this trip, you won’t regret it!
