El Inca Uyo, conocido como el Templo de la Fertilidad, es un fascinante complejo ceremonial de origen inca que despierta curiosidad y admiración. De planta rectangular, este espacio sagrado alberga singulares monolitos fálicos, símbolos ancestrales vinculados a la fertilidad, la vida y la armonía con la naturaleza.
En este lugar se realizaban rituales de pago a la Pachamama, ceremonias dedicadas a la fertilidad andina y al culto al Sol, además de cumplir una importante función como observatorio astronómico. Inca Uyo invita a los visitantes a conectar con la cosmovisión andina y a descubrir uno de los espacios más místicos y enigmáticos del altiplano, cargado de simbolismo, historia y espiritualidad.

We had a lovely time! Manuel was our tour guide and he was so informative, responsive and friendly. All the tour guides seemed amazing, but we didn’t have much experience with other groups. Honestly, this trip was an incredible value. It had out of this world views. If you love weaving or textiles in general, you will love meeting all these amazing artisans, and you will love learning about Lake Titicaca. If you are in Puno, and you have time, do yourself a favor and book this trip, you won’t regret it!
