Live an unforgettable adventure in the spectacular Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), located in the majestic Cordillera Vilcanota, very close to the sacred snow-capped Ausangate (6,377 m), considered an Apu protector of life and guardian of one of the most pristine ecosystems in the world. This trekking experience will allow you to enjoy breathtaking Andean landscapes, glaciers, snow-capped peaks and herds of llamas and alpacas, in a unique natural environment. <\/p>\r\n

We will start with the pick up from your hotel at 3:45 a.m., and then travel approximately 3 hours in private transport through the South Valley, passing through picturesque villages such as Urcos and Quiquijana, until we arrive at Cusipata, where we will enjoy a nutritious breakfast. Afterwards, we will continue to the starting point of the trek at Phulawasipata (4,600 m), from where we can appreciate agricultural terraces, canyons and snow-capped mountains. <\/p>\r\n

Our guide will give an informative talk before starting the hike of approximately 1.5 hours, on a path of moderate ascent. During the tour we will observe South American camelids, high mountain ecosystems and spectacular views of the snow-capped Ausangate. <\/p>\r\n

Around 10:00 a.m. we will arrive at Vinicunca (5,020 m), where you will have free time to admire and photograph this amazing multicolored landscape, which seems to be hand-painted by nature. After enjoying the place, we will begin the descent of approximately 50 minutes to the starting point, where our transportation will be waiting for us to return to Cusipata and enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. Finally we will return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m., concluding this incredible experience. <\/p>\r\n
