The tour starts at approximately 08:00 a.m. with pick up from your hotel in Cusco. This panoramic, cultural and archaeological excursion will take you to discover some of the most fascinating places in the Sacred Valley. Our first stop will be Moray, an impressive archaeological center located 7 km southwest of Maras, famous for its gigantic circular terraces that functioned as an Inca agricultural laboratory, where crops were grown in different microclimates.<\/p>\r\n

We will continue to the picturesque town of Maras, located at 3,300 meters above sea level, from where we will have spectacular views of the Urubamba mountain range and the snow-capped peaks of La Ver\u00f3nica and Chic\u00f3n. Here you will visit its beautiful colonial adobe church, which houses valuable paintings of the Cusco School.<\/p>\r\n

We will then visit the famous Maras salt mines, a complex of more than 3,000 salt wells that are fed by a natural spring. This ancestral salt extraction system is still used by local families, creating a unique and photogenic landscape.<\/p>\r\n

Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco, culminating an unforgettable experience full of history, culture and Andean landscapes.<\/p>\r\n
