Our tour to Machu Picchu begins with an early pick up from your hotel in Cusco to transfer in private transportation to the train station in Ollantaytambo (1 hour and 30 minutes approx.). From there we will board the tourist train to the charming town of Aguas Calientes (2,000 m.a.s.l.), in a journey of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes surrounded by breathtaking Andean landscapes.<\/p>\r\n<p>Upon arrival, our guide will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it to accompany you to the bus station. From here we will ascend for 30 minutes by a zigzagging road until we reach the majestic Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, also known as &#8220;The Lost City of the Incas&#8221;.<\/p>\r\n<p>Upon entering the citadel, we will take a guided tour of more than 2 hours, where you will visit the main sites such as:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>The Main Square<\/li>\r\n\t<li>The Temple of the Sun<\/li>\r\n\t<li>The Circular Tower<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Sundial (Intihuatana)<\/li>\r\n\t<li>The Royal Quarters<\/li>\r\n\t<li>The Temple of the Three Windows<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Ceremonial and funerary areas<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>After the tour, you will have free time to explore the citadel at your own pace, take pictures and enjoy the surroundings.
